This website displays data from SARS-CoV-2 genomes in England. Samples come from the Lighthouse Labs covering most of the pillar 2 testing in England and are sequenced by the Wellcome Sanger Institute’s Covid-19 Genomics Initiative. Samples from recent travelers, surge testing, and special studies are excluded, so the data shown here should be an approximately random sample of positive tests in the community. These data are a subset of what is made available by the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium.
