InnoVEX Forum – A Great Place to Meet Global Industry Experts

InnoVEX forum is one of the most anticipated features of the upcoming InnoVEX annual startup event scheduled to be held from 29th to 31st of May 2019 on the centre stage. This year’s forum is based on the theme of Innovative Thinking, Novel Engineering and Brand-new Future.

Innovex, relatively a new exhibit at Computex Taipei, hosts over 100 speakers at two stages (Center & Pi) including the top-tier investors, accelerators, founders and CEOs to share their insights.

The forum is lined up with amazing speakers from across the globe in various sectors are going to share their insights on the latest technological trends in the startup ecosystem.

Last year’s forum hosted the speakers from Hardware Club, Reach Robotics, BLOCKS, Groking Lab, NYC Media Lab, HTC, Samsung Taiwan, AMD, Criteo, Pegatron, Teach for Taiwan, FLUX Inc., and Backer-Founder.

And for the keynote speeches and demos on Pi stage were delivered by NCTU Industrial Accelerator, Hardware Club, Click Ventures, LINE Taiwan, GGV Capital, The Trade Council of Denmark, Taipei 丹麥商務辦事處, Tiectw and G2A.COM.

InnoVEX has partnered with various government bodies, incubator, accelerators, corporates and investors will deep dive into an array of topics like AI, Blockchain, Biotech, Fintech, Smart machinery and startup ecosystem.

The first day of the forum is dedicated to the startup ecosystem, sports-tech, IoT Application, Smart machinery, Biotech followed by AI, Blockchain on the second day. There will be a panel discussion on the global perspective on the final day of this forum.

Sportstech is this year’s featured topic which will cover a panel discussion on the first day of InnoVEX. This panel discussion will include Zvika Popper, Katrina Chan, Molly Huang, Maggie Hsu and the session will be moderated by Ching Yao Huang, who is the chairman of Asia-Pacific Accelerator Network(AAN) established the first University Business Accelerator in Taiwan, called “Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy”.

Zvika Popper, the VP Strategy for HYPE – Sports Innovation is part of the founding team of HYPE Sports Innovation – the largest global sports innovation ecosystem of over 40K members. HYPE is dedicated to positively impact people’s lives through the power of sports and innovation.

Katrina Chan, Director and co-founder of QBO Philippines Innovation Hub, a Philippine innovation hub and startup platform to provide resources, connections and support to accelerate the growth of Philippine tech startup companies.

Molly Huang, CEO & Founder of Velodash and is in charge of product definition, market research, fundraising, and operations. Velodash is a group ride app that lets cyclist see their teammate on road.

Maggie Hsu, Director of International and Cross-Strait Sports Division at the Sports Administration, Ministry of Education (SAMOE) as well as a current member of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee (CTOC).

In 2018, SAMOE cooperated with HYPE Sports Innovation and National Chiao Tung University to set up Asia’s first sports innovation accelerator, a step further to advance sportsmanship to entrepreneurship in the Asia Pacific region.
